A wedding that lasts all weekend
The whole estate to yourselves, the ceremony in the grounds, and up to forty-nine of your loved ones staying on site — from Friday dinner to Sunday brunch.
Plan your weddingThe estate closed off, your loved ones in the grounds
A wedding at the Château de Conon means a 13th-century estate closed off for you: the gate, eight hectares of grounds, five houses.
Forty-nine of your loved ones sleep on site; the rest take rooms ten minutes away, in Cellettes and around Blois, and join you in the morning over coffee, in the grounds still set for the party.
The ceremony is held beneath the trees, facing the château; the reception drinks linger among the museum’s sculptures.
The grounds, three rooms, five houses
Every space on the estate has its moment across the weekend; the exact set-up is arranged with you to suit your format.
Three days, never a rush
That’s the beauty of 49 beds: for those staying on site, a wedding that breathes, with no clock-watching.
Arriving
The houses fill up through the afternoon. A simple dinner in the courtyard, the children discovering the grounds, a relaxed run-through.
The big day
Getting ready each in your own house, the ceremony beneath the trees, reception drinks among the sculptures, dinner and dancing until the small hours — your guests have twenty metres to walk to bed.
Lingering on
Brunch in the grounds, a dip in the heated pool, last coffees in the shade. The wedding ends when you decide it does.
Your suppliers, entirely your choice
Caterer, florist, photographer, musicians: you put your wedding together with the suppliers of your choice. Nothing is imposed.
If you’d like, we’ll simply recommend names who already know the estate — you stay in charge, from the first meeting to the last drink.
What couples ask us
How many guests can we accommodate on site?
49 beds across the estate’s five houses. Your other guests find rooms in Cellettes and around Blois, ten minutes away — and we’re glad to point you to our favourite addresses.
Do we need to provide a marquee?
It’s not essential: the estate already has three reception rooms — the secular ceremony under cover if it rains, a dinner full of charm, the evening dancing under a permanent marquee. But if you dream of a tent for a particular moment or setting, that’s entirely possible: just tell us.
What if it rains?
Everything is planned under cover. The ceremony room becomes the rainy-day plan B, dinner is held in the reception room and the evening under the permanent marquee — and the grounds take over again the moment the sky clears.
How late can we dance?
We discuss it during the visit, depending on your format and the season. The estate’s advantage: a large share of your guests sleep on site, and the evening is held under a permanent marquee, set apart from the houses.
What budget should we plan for the venue?
Booking the whole weekend exclusively, together with the 49 beds, makes up the bulk of the venue budget. Tell us your dates and guest numbers: we’ll give you a precise range within 24 hours, even before the visit.
Can we visit before deciding?
It’s actually the second step in the way we work: an hour on site, grounds and houses open, and you’ll know.
